Uncontrollable thoughts significantly impact mental health, but some strategies can help manage them. A study with 40 adults focused on how different features of worry predict the effectiveness of mindfulness or thought suppression techniques. Results showed mindfulness was especially beneficial for managing highly uncontrollable worries, highlighting its potential in therapeutic settings.
