Summary
Engaging in a tailored 12-week yoga program can significantly enhance quality of life for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. Participants showed marked improvements in cognitive function, as measured by the MoCA scale, and reduced depression on the GDS scale. Caregiver burden also decreased, highlighting yoga’s potential as an effective mind-body intervention.
