Summary

Acute lung injury poses serious health risks, but harmine, a natural compound, shows promise in combating this condition. In experiments with mice, harmine reduced inflammation by inhibiting Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating factor (CSF3), effectively blocking the MAPK/NF-κB signaling pathway. These findings suggest harmine could be a safe and effective treatment for inflammatory lung diseases.
