A single dose of psilocybin, paired with brief psychotherapy, was tested for its potential to reduce relapse in alcohol use disorder. In a randomized clinical trial with 37 participants, results showed no significant differences in abstinence or alcohol consumption between the psilocybin and placebo groups.
